Baru baca sebagian buku “Kun Fayakun” karangan Ustadz Yusuf Mansur, gara2 dipinjami sebentar oleh bapak pemilik Warteg.
Ada satu bagian yang sangat menyentuh hati saya, di halaman 108.
Diceritakan bahwa kita tidak memiliki apa-apa. Mata bukan milik kita. Begitu pula tangan, hati, semua bagian tubuh dan juga harta yang kita miliki.
Oh, jadi sedih, kalo bibir pinjaman ini, mencium bibir lain yang kebetulan dipinjamkan ke seorang wanita, yang kebetulan wanita tersebut belum dihalalkan bagi saya. Sedih juga, kalo mata pinjaman ini, melihat hal-hal yang tidak dihalalkan bagi mata “saya”.

SacredLearning.org is an Islamic web site Parama Danoesubroto recently shared with me which, among other useful materials, contains general talks by Shaykh Husain Abdul Sattar (as freely downloadable audios).
Parama initially made me interested with a talk titled “Wisdom of Wealth” which is excellent.
I begin to listen to the other talks. Actually I dutifully enjoy his talks that my laptop is continuously downloading all of the rest of the talks (including the right-on-time Ramadan classroom) using my trusty DownThemAll.

A few minutes ago I was thinking that “IT” is simply about reducing ambiguity. which is basically increasing specificity. Problem is, the world is inherently uncertain.
And IT usually doesn’t cope well with this that changes a lot (hence the need for BPMs and such). IT is very good for things that are strictly in order, and certain, and known upfront.
The more we get to details, the more the uncertainty (and hence the ‘probability factor’) increases.

Let me begin by a scientific discovery, a few decades ago: (as pictured above)
A Lunar Rille
Credit: Apollo 10, NASA Explanation: What could cause a long indentation on the Moon? First discovered over 200 years ago with a small telescope, rilles (rhymes with pills) appear all over the Moon. Three types of rilles are now recognized: sinuous rilles, which have many meandering curves, arcuate rilles which form sweeping arcs, and straight rilles, like Ariadaeus Rille pictured above. Long rilles such as Ariadaeus Rille extend for hundreds of kilometers. Sinuous rilles are now thought to be remnants of ancient lava flows, but the origins of arcuate and linear rilles are still a topic of research. The above linear rille was photographed by the Apollo 10 crew in 1969 during their historic approach to only 14-kilometers above the lunar surface. Two months later, Apollo 11, incorporating much knowledge gained from Apollo 10, landed on the Moon.

Everybody Is A Programmer
When people ask me, what do you do? And I probably answer… “I’m a programmer.”
So they ask about computers, the Internet, e-mail, et cetera…
Great!
But the truth is… Everybody in this world is a programmer.
I’m not talking in the narrow sense, and I’m not talking in the too much broad/generic sense that doesn’t apply specifically.
I’m talking in the true sense, in that there’s no difference between a simple programmer and a computer programmer.

Di Linux kita bisa mengoprek system sesuka kita (tp harus jadi root), hm… kemarin iseng iseng lihat ubuntu-me via website resminya, dan sempat kecewa sih sebenarnya karena tidak ada perubahan signifikan dari Ubuntu , cuma tambah beberapa program aja… (mungkin butuh kontribusi kita kali ya…)
oke akhirnya saya pengen membuat Ubuntu feisty saya menjadi Ubuntu-ME, pertimbangan:
1. ribet install ulang
2. males konfigurasi ulang
3. ga ada waktu lagi…
