Crowdsourcing in Practice: Making It Work and Profitable
I just love the story of Nathan Eagle and txtEagle so much, that I’d be doing you and yours truly a disservice if I don’t post a followup.
Check out this video on crowd-sourcing by Nathan Eagle:
We posted about txtEagle recently here Nathan Eagle, explains his extraordinary story, and, the extraordinary story of how our world is being transformed by mobile communications. Nathan’s personal fascination is the African continent he talks about how Mpesa and SMS Media are transforming society. 30% of Rawandians pay for their electricity by the mobile device, and many more water pumps can be bought as they can be bought via the mobile. And he then goes onto talk about his company txtEagle.
How About Solving The Poverty Problem in A Brilliant Way?
Many of us are thinking of how to end world poverty as we know it. Especially for people living in poor or developing countries such as Indonesia (like me), where we can see it everyday.
Nathan Eagle and his company TxtEagle managed to solve the poverty problem in a very elegant and direct way.

Quote from The future of work=TxtEagle | SMLXL – Engagement Marketing and Communication principles from Alan Moore :
The thought also came to me that this grassroots approach to tackling poverty, to help lift populations out of poverty by making small but dramatic changes in wage income should both enervate and inspire us all. Txteagle has a fascinating story, and often its the smallest things that can inspire us to do something remarkable.
The Power of Twitter: Joko Anwar’s Naked Stunt on Circle K
Joko Anwar recently did a crazy feat: He was naked, in public, and shopping!
Who is Joko Anwar you ask? He’s an Indonesian actor and famous for being director of the movie “Janji Joni”.
Yesterday he posted a casual tweet “I’ll go naked to Circle K if I get more than 3,000 Twitter followers”. (Circle K is a local minimarket) The rest is history: in only a few hours he did not only get 3,000 followers, but more than 13,000 followers and still counting. The amazing part is: He stood true to his words and kept his promise!

Bill Gates’ rules for Kids!
Read this….. very cool!
Dear Colleagues & Friends
Here are a few rules of wisdom and this from the richest man in the world. They must be true!!!!
All the best
This should be posted in all schools and work places
Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.
Rule 1: Life is not fair – get used to it!
Mario Teguh Golden Ways Notes #1
Hanya org2 yg direncanakan naik yg mendapat gangguan turun
Contoh: kmu naik pangkat jd manager, jd smakin tajir, tpi jadi hoby clubbing
Pinjam Tangan Multifungsi: Gratis!!!
9 Most Important Quotes You Need to Know About Prophet Muhammad S.A.W.
Just read a very interesting article from Wid Brilliant about Prophet Muhammad. It’s so good and “BLINK!” me a lot so I just had to make a copy here…
Thanks a lot to Dedi Setiawan for introducing me the word “BLINK”, and Parama Danoesubroto for reminding me (again!) about this theme.
Of course *BIG* Thanks to the original writer(s)!
What prominent people say about Rasullullah Muhammad S.A.W, PBUH [Peace Be Upon Him]
Top 9 Habits of Highly Successful Entrepreneurs
Parama W. Danoesubroto, a friend of mine, recently shared a bit of his vast business-savviness. It’s great enough that I’d like to share it here, both with my future self and with you the cool person (yes! YOU) who read this blog. Extra-gladly he’s willing to license his ideas as Creative Commons (oh so geeky!).
So, from this point below it’ll be his words, not mine:
Here’s what I’ve learned if I wanted to keep on continuing to be an entrepreneur.
These are just my values that I keep for myself. This might not apply or be true to other people.
